Her first marriage was to railroad man Fred Hunt of Bangor, Maine. After Alice was born they settled in Norwood, Massachusetts where five more children were born, including Lucy, Fred, Florence and Lenora.
Lucy, Florence and Lenora were college graduates with Lucy practicing as a nurse in Canterbury, New Hampshire. Florence later married Irishman James William Patterson and moved to Los Angeles.
After Delina and Fred divorced, both remarried - Delina to Thomas Carrow in Boston in 1899.
Sadly she died just nine years later from Peritonitis, age 52.
