Charlotte never married. Her middle name was her mother's maiden name. Charlotte was the daughter of Charles Simpkins and Isabella Trench Richardson. I have a different birthdate for Charlotte than the one on her headstone.

Miss Charlotte Simpkins of 416 So. L St., died Monday in a local hospital after a residence of 57 years in Tacoma. She was born in Scotland, was a member of the Church of the Holy Communion here and Fern Chapter, Order of Eastern Star.
Survivors are two brothers, Hector Charles Simpkins of Tacoma and George of Juneau. Buckley-King Co. will announce the services.
