Doris M. Baalman, 63, Grinnell, died Friday, April 29, 1994 at the Hays Medical Center.
Mrs. Baalman was born Doris M. Boring, April 3, 1931, at Neodesha and was a resident of Grinnell since 1951. She was a homemaker and a school teacher. She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and St. Mary's Altar Society, both of Grinnell.
Survivors include her husband, Harold J. of the home, two sons, Michael J. and Donald J. both of Grinnell, two daughters, Jo-Anne Baalman of Orlando, FL and Laurie A. Baalman of Jennings, a brother, Frank Boring, and a grandchild.
The funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Grinnell, the Rev. Roger K. Meitl officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
A vigil will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday at the church Educational Center.
Memorials may be made to the Doris M. Baalman Scholarship Fund at the Grinnell High School.
Visitation will be after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the church Educational Center.
