Warren C. Barklow, 90, of Boulder Junction, passed away on September 22, 2013.

Warren was born August 12, 1923, The son of Glenn and Ethel Hammond Barklow. in Pearl City, IL. He married F. Joan Sisler, June 25, 1949, in Lanark. She passed away on September 1, 1984. On September 26, 1986, he married Mary E. Adams in Lanark.

He was a member of the United Methodist Church, American Legion, VFW, Moose Lodge, a 50 year member of the Masonic Lodge, Sword of Bunker Hill, Eagles Club, and many years as a volunteer fireman on the Lanark Fire Dept. He served in the US Marine Corps WWII in the Pacific Theatre.

In his business life, he was an electrical contractor and owner of Barklow Electric, co-owner of Barklow & Merchant Appliance, and Mac's Tavern, all in Lanark. He enjoyed his family, fishing, camping, playing cards, and softball.

Surviving, are his wife, Mary; daughters, Sherri Miller, and Deborah (Greg) Groom; two step-daughters, Julyann (Tom) Miller, Tammy (Mike) Crawford; three grandchildren; 5 step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two sisters, Orelda Strohecker, Doris Icenbice; and many nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his first wife, Joan; his parents; three brothers, Donald, Victor (Bud), and Clinton; and one sister, Vivian Offenhiser.

Cremation rites have been accorded, and burial in Lanark Cemetery, Lanark, IL.
