Betty Jo Roos, 51, former long-time resident of Lewiston, died June 23 at Everett, Wash., her hometown of the past three years.

She was born Dec. 27, 1929, at Southwick to George and Dola Christensen.

She had cooked in restaurants in the Lewiston area for a number of years. She moved to Everett in 1978.

Survivors include two sons, Eric and Robert Roos, and a daughter, Joanna Hawkins, all of Everett; four sisters, Margaret Finney of Everett; Lois Travis of Grangeville and Ann Christensen and Georgine Ward, both of Lewiston, a brother, Donald Christiansen of Orofino, a daughter-in-law, Bonnie Roos, and two grandchildren.

Her son, Larry Jones, preceded her in death.
