Emma was the daughter of Henry Cossett Riley and Roxey Rawden Riley. She married George Riley Woodford. They were parents of Earl, George, Bertha, Mary & Letha Woodford. They lived on the family farm until later in life when they moved to Fresno California to be with their two daughters, Bertha and Mary Woodford who taught school in Fresno. They also spent time in Oregon with daughter Letha Woodford Pynch and son George Woodford and his wife Lorena Wolters Woodford.
