OBITUARY Iron County (Michigan) Reporter Feb 15 2006. Age 70. Died after battle with cancer. Daughter of Robert W. and Dorothy J. (Larrabee) Moore. Lived in Chicago until 8th grade when family moved to Phillips WI, where she graduated from Phillips High School in 1953. Married Vernard LaRose on Dec 26 1953 at St. John Lutheran Church in Phillips. 1955 moved to Wakefield MI until 1985, then Iron River, then White Pine in 1988. Moved to daughter's home in Gladstone recently. 4-H leader and den mother in Wakefield. Preceded in death by sisters Joy Diane and Betty. Survived by husband; son Duane "Butch" (Pam) of Springvale ME; daughters, Diane Stapleton of Woodruff WI, Julie (Bill) Anderson of Firebaugh CA, Elizabeth "Betsy" (John) Sullivan of Wausau WI, Nancy (Dan) Wall of Gladstone MI; sisters, Phylis (Jerry) Allard of Kenosha WI, Roberta (John) St. Denis of Appleton WI, Linda "Cricket" (Dick) Detloff of Marensico.
