MADISON -- Joanne M. (Comeau) Kennedy, Aug. 12, 1937-Oct. 23, 2013. Anyone who "knew" our mom, knew her life and her legacy. Who she was and what she accomplished. She was about FAMILY, feeling her greatest accomplishment was her four children. She was a Mother first and foremost. She was always there for us, with her support, guidance, and unconditional love. We will always hold dear our precious moments and treasured memories.

She is survived by her four children and their spouses; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four sisters. She will be greatly missed but we know we are only separated by time spent on Earth. We believe there are no arbitrary happenings -- only God's plan. We know she is with our Heavenly Father and is now wrapped in God's love. She is with the angels, the celestial guides and protectors continuing her motherly duty of watching over us. She will always be with us. As the song says "What if the trials of this life are 'your' mercies in disguise" -- "This is not our home." Mom, you now walk in devine favor of peace. Father Solanus said "Death is the vestibule of Heaven." You finally have your 'just' reward. We will keep your memory proud. You always let us know -- You loved us. We love you more than words can convey.

There will be a Mass of Christian burial at St. Sebastian Catholic Church in Madison to celebrate her life. Burial will follow at St. Sebastian Cemetery. (Morning Sentinel 10/26/2013)
