FLINDERS, Clinton C. age 71 of Morrow, Ohio passed peacefully Friday evening August 26, 2011 at Hospice of Cincinnati with his family by his side. Born December 4, 1939 in Prestonburg, Kentucky, Clinton was the son of Raymond and Maxie (Johnson) Flinders and was a retired steel worker with more than 30 years of service with Noble Metal Processing. Clinton was a member of Kings Point Church of God and enjoyed working on lawnmowers, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers Jay, Alvie and Doc and sisters Juanita and Christine; Clinton leaves behind his loving wife of 54 years - Dana J. Flinders of Morrow, Ohio; son Danny (Bonita) Flinders of Morrow, Ohio; daughter Pamela (Mike) Hornsby of Morrow, Ohio; grandchildren Shannon Wright, Kristen Hornsby and Daniel and Cheston Flinders; great-grandchildren Jacob, Bailey and Cole; former son-in-law Rick Hornsby, brother-in-law Jack Moore and many nieces, nephews and friends. Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 30, 2011 at 12:00pm at Stine Kilburn Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Ballard officiating. Burial was in the Deerfield Cemetery, South Lebanon, Ohio.
