Daughter of Floyd and Gladys Steward Rice. Gladys married a second time to Lloyd Graham who Bettie considered her true father because her mother and bio father were divorced when Bettie was very young and when she did see her bio dad one time at the age of about 12, he had remarried and never even bothered to come out of the house to see her. Married Vernon Wesley Sheehan and they had two daughters and a son. She was the Bettie White of San Juan Capistrano when it came to pets. She was a very special person who won numerous battles where her health was concerned. A woman who hid her illness well even on her really bad days. We will all miss her in every way.
