Amillia was born July 12, 1917 in Hardin, Mont., to George and Katherine Bauer. She grew up in the Greeley area. On May 9, 1937, she married Philip Altergott in Windsor. They farmed in the Windsor and Timnath ares until retiring in 1962. She also worked at Columbine Floral Products for many years.
She was a member of Faith United Church of Christ and a member of the Windsor Auxillary of the American Legion. Amillia enjoyed quilting.
She is survived by 3 daughters; her sister-in-law; 8 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 16 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and 12 siblings.
