Mrs. Ella E. Ayers, 70, of Midland, Mich., and Lake Worth, Fla., former Lawrence County resident, died Thursday in Lake Worth.
She was born in Sumner Jan. 9, 1903, daughter of Charles Baird and Margaret May Baird.
A former resident of Bridgeport, she was a member of the First Christian Church there.
Surviving are the husband, Earl L. Ayers; a son, Earl D. Ayers, Midland; two sisters, Mrs. Camilla Early, Chicago, and Mrs. Dorothy Shaeffer, Joliet; and three grandchildren.
Funeral will be Monday, 2 p.m. Emmons Chapel, the Rev. Harold Miles officiating. Burial will be in the Sumner Cemetery.
Friends may call at the chapel after 2 p.m. Sunday.
