Alvah Raymond Ransier, 63, of 1504 W. Irving St., Pasco, died at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital Wednesday.

He was born at Prosser Dec. 17, 1901, and had lived in the Tri-Cities area 39 years.

He was a member of the Christian Science Church and a retired custodian for the Franklin County courthouse.

Survivors are his wife, Avis; four sons, Roy A., Pasco, Michael, Priest River, Idaho, Bruce, Kennewick, and Charles, Seattle; two daughters, Rita Schmidt, Omak, and Patricia Wells, Kennewick; six brothers, Norman, Woodland, Glenn, Spokane, David, The Dalles, Ore., Fred, White Salmon, Lester, Sunnyside, and Roy W. Pasco; four sisters, Nettie Sheldon, La Center, Alice Arnold, Walla Walla, Delcie Savage, Hoquiam, and Etta Huston, Mabton, and 17 grandchildren.
