Ronny Jack Alexander, age 69, of Rising Star passed away on Monday, Oct. 21, 2013, at his home.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 23, 2013, at Jenkins Springs Cemetery in Brown County. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Higginbotham funeral home in Cross Plains.
He was born Dec. 26, 1943, in Gorman, to Richard Coke and Eva Jewel (Pallett). He lived in the Brown and Eastland Counties for most of his life. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as an automotive mechanic and was a member of the Church of Christ in Rising Star.
Ronny is survived by his nephews, Randy Dotson of Midland, Stanley Alexander of Rising Star; Eva Alexander of Brownwood; nieces, Lindy Alexander of Rising Star, Candace Lowery of Brownwood; great-nephew, Matthew Pannell of Brownwood; and great-great-niece, Xaylah Alexander of Rising Star.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Jimmy and Ray Alexander; and sister, Jo Faye Randolph.
Ronny fought a long battle with cancer.
