Walton - Milton A Close, 52, died early Monday at his home, 82 East St., Walton. He had been in poor health for the last four years.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, November 16 i the Advent Christian Chruch, Margaretville, the Rev. Albert Larcombe, officiating. Burial will be in Andes Cemetery. Mr. Close was born July 16, 1908 in Arena, the son of Herny and Viola (Wickham) Close. He married Esther Bralsland, November 6, 1931 in Arena.
He had lived in Walton for 20 years. He was a member of the Advent Christian Church in Margaretville.
He is survived by his wife;; his mother, Mrs. Henry Close, Andes; three brothers, Edwin and Walter Close, both of Oneonta, and Eldon Close of Margaretville, and one sister Mrs. Raymond Ackerley of Andes.
