Orange, Nov. 8 - Funeral services for Lewis David Gist, who died Friday evening at the home of a son in Anaheim, were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Shannon funeral chapel.
The Rev. R.D. Richardson, pastor of the Silver Acres Community church officiated, and Mrs. Martin Shaffer, organist of the church played the prelude and postlude, and accompanied Elizabeth Bowlus of Anaheim, as she sang, "The Old Rugged cross" and "Rock of Ages."
Interment was private, Mr. Gist leaves six sons and four daughters, of which Clark and Lewis Gist live in Anaheim, and Robert Gist in Orange, all of the others living in Texas.
