Services will be held Saturday for Roy A. Allan, 79, of 305 Travis St. who passed away August 14 in the Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. Rev. Richard Ryan will officiate at graveside services at 2 p.m. in the Garden of Memories Cemetery. A resident of Kerrville since 1943, he was born September 9, 1912 in Falfurrias and was a member of First Presbyterian Church. He was former owner and operator of the Peterson Garage in administration. He married Norma Smith in 1936 in Falfurrias. They celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary August 8, 1986. He is survived by his wife, Norma of Kerrville; two daughters; Phyllis Claunch of Boulder, Colo., and Darleen Allan of Kerrvile; two sisters, Katherine Frazier of Alice; and Mamie Wright of Comstock; two grandchildren and one great-grandson. Kerrville funeral home is in charge of arrangements.
