Mrs. Alberta McMillion was born on October 30, 1899. She joined the Ebenezer Baptist Church at the age of twelve and attended her church as long as her health permitted her.
She was the first child born to the late Mr. & Mrs. Wiley Young. She was married to the late Fred McMillon on January 4, 1920. Born to this union were six children which are as follows: James, Lovon and Olas McMillion of Carthage, Miss., Lillie Austin of Kosciusko, Miss., Pearline Jones and Clifton of Milwaukee, Wisc., 12 grandchildren, 4 sisters, Mrs. Rever Mae Gee of Carthage, Miss., Mrs. Cleola McFarland of Woodville, Miss., 5 brothers, Mr. Ervin Youung, Roy, J. D., Elvia of Milwaukee, Wisc., Henry of Oklahoma. Two sons-in-law, Mr. R. J. Jones of Milwaukee, Wisc., and Mr. Columbus Austin of Kosciusko, Miss., Four daughters-in-law; Corine, Darrell, Lula Pearl, and Levonia McMillon and a host of other relatives and friends.
It's just another soldier gone to get a great reward. She fought the fight, she kept the faith, and now she's gone home to God.
