The exact burial site of Henry Youngblood is unknown. He died on his farm near Grand Cane, LA and could be buried there in an unmarked grave. He could also be buried in an unmarked grave in the old Hazelwood Cemetery, the oldest cemetery in the area. It is also thought that he could have been transported in a whisky barrel to Marion County, MS where he was buried in a family cemetery that has been lost over time.

Henry's uncle Captain Moses Collins was his company commander in Nixon's 13th Mississippi Militia at the time of the War of 1812. Henry Youngblood was a Private who served from 5 Jan. 1815 to 4 Feb. 1815.

Henry Youngblood was the son of Judge Benjamin Youngblood of Marion Co., MS and his wife Susannah Collins Youngblood. He married Sarah Harvey on 27 February 1817 in Marion County, Mississippi
