Climmie Ree Walker Stone, 89, passed away Thursday October 17, 2013 at MS Baptist Medical Center. Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday October 18, 2013 and 10am Saturday October 19, 2013 at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home in Ridgeland. Funeral services will be 11:00am Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be 3:00pm Saturday at Greenlawn Cemetery in Greenville, MS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, M.C. Walker and Minnie Sullivan Walker; 3 sisters, Elise Walker, Inez Smith, and Glendolyn Holloway; brother, Euland Walker; and great-grandchild, Brooke Azevedo.
Survivors include her son, Ernie Stewart of Madison; daughters, Doris Stewart Bowman (Rayford) of Pass Christian, Barbra Stewart Duff (Billy) of Florence, and Vonnie Stewart Fischer (Charles) of Roswell, NM;13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Hilbun "Pete" Walker (Dahlia) of Madison, and Thomas Walker (Faye) of Huntsville, AL; and numerous other family members.
