Leona baker, 86, formerly of McAlester, died Monday in Shawnee. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday at Mills Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Ash Creek Cemetery under the direction of Mills Funeral Home of McAlester. Born Oct. 28, 1911 in Crowder, she was the daughter of george and Mae Henson Sadler. She lived most of her life in the McAlester area and married Isaac Lee baker on Jan 5, 1928 in McAlester. She was of the Assembly of God faith. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Nora and Happy Martin, Wheeler, Texas, and Pauline Ewel Roberts, Farmington, N.M.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Floyd and Billie Baker of Ashland, and George and Jean Baker of Shawnee; a brother, Robert Sadler, Glenville, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and a brother, Lawson Sadler.
