According to the compiled genealogy _Book of the Lockes_ by John Goodwin Locke:
Jonathan was born at West Cambridge (now Arlington) on 12 February 1781 to Joseph Locke and Mary (Butterfield) Locke. Jonathan married Margaret Wyer on 23 June 1806. Jonathan was a grocer who "resided in Boston for many years" and then the family moved to Charlestown, where Jonathan died. The book lists the same death date for Jonathan as this gravestone and states that he was buried in West Cambridge (now Arlington) where this gravestone is. The book also lists Jonathan and Margaret's children and gives Jonathan's (alleged) line of descent from the immigrant Locke.
