EMINGTON - Visitation for Harvey N. Becker, 86, of rural Emington, will be 4-8 p.m. today at St. John's Lutheran Church Hall, Cullom.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Cullom, where he was a member. The Rev. Ed Stone will officiate. Burial will be in West Lawn Cemetery, Cullom. Memorials may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church or to the donor's choice.
Arrangements are by the Harris- Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Cullom.
Mr. Becker died Thursday (Oct. 29, 1998) at OSF Saint James Hospital, Pontiac.
He was born Oct. 23, 1912, in rural Emington, the son of Nicholas and A. Elizabeth Heppe Becker. Surviving are his wife, the former Bernice Lucille Landis, whom he married Oct. 5, 1938, in Pontiac; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and JoAnn Becker of rural Emington, Roger and Diana Becker of Kempton; two daughters and sons- in-law, Shirley and Donald Trainor of Cornell, Carol and Dave Tharp of Cullom; two brothers and sisters-in- law, two brothers and sisters-in-law, Elmer and Mary Becker of Dwight, Harold and Mary Becker of rural Pontiac; 14 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, John, Raymond and two in infancy; and two sisters, Mae Owens and Marguerite Becker.
Mr. Becker was educated in rural Emington schools. He was a farmer his entire life. He was a member of the Livingston County Farm Bureau and a former member of the Moose Lodge at Pontiac.
