The book, "Cemeteries and Graveyards of Rutherford Co., Tn," by Susan G. Daniel states, "Thought to have been buried here: John Clark - d. 1842, & wife, Eleanor Harding Clark - d. 1843. His burial here is confirmed by a tombstone. Hers is not. Their daughter, Elizabeth Clark Jackson, is also buried here. This source lists the cemetery name as Jackson-Garrett Cemetery. I believe Elinor Hardin Clark's grave is unmarked.
In the document, "The History of Versailles, Tenth District and its People," her name is spelled as Elinor Harding Clark. This source describes this family and their home, the Clark Plantation."
There are several different sources for spelling of her name. I have chosen to use the one found in the first source, due to the continued use of her maiden name spelled as Hardin in later generations.
