He was the beloved Father of four Children -Twins (Johnny and Tommy),Charles and Mary. He was the first husband of Mary Catherine Fincher and she was the Mother of their children. He was in the US Army, stationed in Panama, some of the time. He was a Blacksmith and Master Carpenter and could do most anything..he set his mind to do. He helped build Rich's,downtown Atlanta,Ga.,among other projects. He was an avid Fisherman and loved boating and photography. He always said.."Do something right or don't do it all" and "Can't ..can't ..do nothing"! He was one who showed his love,by actions, not just words. He was the son of John Edward Gatch and Carrie Elizabeth Beach...and had 9 siblings!
