OBIT:
George Bloom, 99 died March 23 in Sandhills General Hospital in Valentine. He had been a resident of Hanson Nursing Home for a number of years and prior to that had ranched at Wood Lake.
Services were Monday at 2 in the Union Church in Wood Lake with the Rev. Kane in charge. Burial was in Mt. Hope Cemetery, Wood Lake.
He is survived by one son, Cleo Bloom, Sr., two grandsons, Cleo Bloom, Jr. of Valentine and George of Texas, and their families.
