A private graveside service will be held at New Hope Cemetery in Rowesville.
Anne was born Sept. 24, 1954, in Orangeburg. She was the daughter of the late Dr. and Mrs. Harry (Florence Elizabeth Bonnett) Basil Arant Jr. She was a graduate of Calhoun Academy, receiving her bachelor of science degree from Limestone College and her histology degree from Emory University. Anne was passionate about many things, but her old English bulldogs and reading were her greatest loves.
Survivors include her husband, James "Frank" Jervey of Columbia; two sons, Max James Jervey of Orangeburg and Mark Christian (Laura) Jervey of Daniel Island; four grandchildren, Madelyn, Mason, Luke and Olivia Jervey; a brother, Harry "Basil" Arant III of Orangeburg; two sisters, Elizabeth "Lib" (David) Burlington of Travelers Rest and Deryl A. Turner of Folly Beach.
Memorials may be made to the South Carolina Wildlife Officers Association, the Children's Hospital at MUSC, the Orangeburg County Disabilities and Special Needs Board, or a charity of one's choice.
Dukes-Harley Funeral Home of Orangeburg will be handling all arrangements.
