Lowell Benton Cooke, the 8-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Cooke died at the family home, 107 East Eighth Street, Sunday at 9:40 after an illness of five months. The boy had been ill with a complication of heart and kidney trouble and several physicians had been called in consultation and everything possible done to save the boy.
The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the family residence. Rev. John Hanks, assisted by Rev. Mr. Snyder, the new pastor of the Methodist Church, will have charge of the services. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery.
