Henry Vogel, formerly a resident of Allegheny, died yesterday at the residence of his son, C.W. Vogel, of the Republic company's steel plant, Youngstown, O. He had been in poor health for a year and went to live with his son about four weeks ago. Mr. Vogel was born in Germany in 1849 and came to America in 1865. He located in Allegheny, and was one of the younger steel workers of the Carnegie steel works. He resided at Braddock for 27 years. He was a member of St. George's church. His widow and children--C.W. Vogel, Younstown; Mrs. Teressa Herrman, McKeesport; Mrs. Kate Glassar, Steubenville, O.; Joseph Vogel, Allegheny; John Vogel, Pittsburg; and Mrs. Solomon, Millvale--survive. The funeral services will be held at the home of his son, 830 Wilson avenue, Youngstown, tomorrow morning.
