A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, Oct. 11 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off for Oneil Absolon Guidry, 85, a native and resident of Cut Off who died at 9:05 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 9.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. at the church. Burial will be held in the church's cemetery.
He is survived by his sons Dudley, Roy and O.J. Guidry; daughter Annette Triche; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Lillie Molere Guidry, second wife Odette Punch Guidry; parents Toussaint and Pauline Remont Guidry; daughter Rita Guidry; brothers Emile, Odon, Ellis, Elmer, Joseph and Eldon Guidry; sisters Selina Terrebonne, Emily Chabert, Lolita Guidry and Elecia Guidry.
Falgout Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
