He was born Nov. 7, 1913, in Chariton County, son of John and Lavena McCollum Johnson. He was a retired farmer.
Surviving are wife, Mary, of the home; daughter Marjorie Lewis, Clifton Hill; brother Herbert Johnson, Keytesville; sister Oneta Eravi, Moberly; and two grandchildren, Donald Dean Lewis and Mary Lewis, both of Clifton Hill.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Patton Funeral Home, with Rev. Ray Wiley, of the Clifton Hill Baptist Churt officaiating. Burial will be in the Clifton Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday.
