Born April 13, 1919, in Lester, Iowa, to Dietrich and Julia Koch Knobloch, she married Edris Barker on June 2,1944, in Peoria. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Dietrich"Dick" of Marquette Heights; seven brothers, Ernst Knobloch of Larchwood, Iowa, Dietrich Knobloch of DeSmet, S.D., Wilbert Knobloch and Earl Knobloch, both of Lester, Iowa, Adolf Knobloch of Algona, Iowa, Albert Knobloch of Hills, Minn., and Ben Knobloch of Wapell, Iowa; six sisters, Emma Knobloch, Paulina Knobloch, Violet Knobloch and Wilma Hoogeveen, all of Rock Rapids, Iowa, Lydia Moser of Lester, Iowa, and Julia Plattner of Sabetha, Kan.; and five grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Canton.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton, the Rev. Virgil Juliot officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens, Canton.
