Neil Miller was the second son of Thomas Miller and Georgina MacKay. He was born in Aberdeen, Scotland abt 1855 and was named after his Maternal Grandfather, Neil MacKay, a Crofter (tenant farmer) in Trantlemore, Sutherland (previously, Reay) Scotland. Neil Miller passed at the age of 15 due to complications from Consumption, now known as Influenza. He rests at St. Clement's Churchyard Burial Ground, where many other of him family members rest.
