Georgie Pevestorff, 86, of Nordheim, died Wednesday, July 30, 2003.
She was born July 18, 1917, in Nordheim, to the late Noah and Ernestine Wuensch Alexander. She was a member of the Young at Heart Club. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Nordheim.
She is survived by her husband, Edgar Pevestorff of Nordheim; daughters, Dianna Simmons and husband, Henry, of Houston, and Mary Smorol and husband, Michael, of La Fayette, New York; and three grandchildren, Rachel, Jason, and Stephen Simmons.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mary Esther Alexander, Lillian Seiler, Allie Homeyer, and Helen Byrom; brothers, Walter Alexander and Homer Alexander.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6 at Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 6 at Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 7 at Lamprecht-Janssen Funeral Home, with Pastor Edwina Baethge officiating. Interment will follow at Nordheim Cemetery.
