Hattie E. Harris, 87, native pioneer resident, died at a Prosser nursing home Monday. Born June 18, 1882 in Ellensburg, she was married to Robert L. Harris, November 24, 1901. She made her home on acreage east of Ellensubrg on the Ronald Road until Oct. 1968 when she moved to Prosser to live with her daughter, Mrs. Ray Tinker [Roberta "Queenie"].
A member of the Rebecca Lodge, she is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Ray Tinker, Prosser; two grandchildren, Mrs. Donna Hazzard, Prosser, and Lloyd Tinker, Ontario, Calif.; five great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Nell Williams, Pasco. Funeral services will be in Evenson's Chapel Friday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Albert Sweet will officiate. The Rebecca Lodge will conduct graveside services at the IOOF Cemetery.
