PARKER--Mrs. Alice Parker was born at Keithly [sic], Yorkshire, England on January 14, 1901 and passed away in Olds, Alberta on May 29, 1979 at the age of 78 years. She came to Calgary, Alberta in 1925 and to the Sundre district in 1929. She was married to Tyson Parker in 1913 and moved to the homestead on the James River, where she resided until 1966 when she retired to the Mount View Lodge, Olds and later to the Didsbury Auxiliary Hospital where she remained until the time of her death. She was predeceased by her husband Tyson in 1965. Surviving are two sons, George of Calgary and Derwent of Bearberry, one brother and one sister and several nieces and nephews in England.
