NINETY SIX - Yancey Dorn, 66, of 402 Sirrine Street, husband of Nickey Hastings Dorn, died November 24, 2007 at his home. Born in Edgefield County; a son of the late William Fred Dorn and Ethel Ouzts Dorn Horne. He was owner of Dorn's Roofing, and was retired from CMP and the Adams plant of Greenwood Mills, where he was a member of the Quarter Century Club. He was formerly in the National Guard and was a member of Ninety Six Pentecostal Holiness Church, where he was a member of the Adult Sunday School Class. Surviving in addition to his wife of the home are daughter, Jamie Dorn Terry Tucker of Chappels; a son, Yancey "Bubba" Heyward Dorn of the home; a sister, Irene Dorn King of Greenwood; five brothers, George Fred Dorn, James Earl Dorn, Hoyt Dorn and C.W. "Zeke" Dorn all of Greenwood and Raymond Dorn from Waterloo; two grandchildren, Shanda Martin and Heath Terry; great-grandchildren, Coby Wayne Martin and Tanner Chase Martin; and one step-grandchild, Austin Tucker and one step-great-grandchild, Jordan Martin; a godchild, Brandon Barden.
