Nancy P. Smith age 94 of Connersville passed away on Saturday Sept 28, 2013 at Lincoln Center West.
She was born April 29, 1919 in Munfordville, KY the daughter of the late Roy and Bertha Fuqua Buckner.
Mrs. Smith is a member of the First United Methodist Church and was a homemaker.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law, Richard E. & Phyllis Smith of Connersville. Three sisters Hazel Slaughter, Indianapolis; Virginia Martz, Greenfield; and Jean Clemons, Denton, TX; two grandchildren, Cheryl Jo & Doug Myers, Connersville; and Douglas M. & Janet Smith, Erie, CO; four great grandchildren, Darren Myers, Erie, CO; Ashley Myers Sterling and husband Matt, Connersville; Haley Smith, Erie, CO, and Wyatt Smith, Erie, CO
She is preceded in death by her husband Eldred F. Smith to whom she was married August 14, 1937 in Indianapolis. He passed away December 14, 2007.
She is also preceded in death by a sister Claudine Read.
Private Family Funeral Services will be conducted at Urban-Winkler Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Hurley officiating.
Burial will be in Dale Cemetery.
