Visiting at Niland's Funeral Home, New Roads, 9 to 10:45 a.m. Thursday. Religious services at St. Mary's Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Thursday, conducted by Father Mark Alise. Entombment in False River Memorial Park Mausoleum. Survived by three sisters, Mary Dael Olinde, Jarreau, Lyle Ann Eichsteadt, Woodburn, Ore., and Mae Merryll Kaiser, Baton Rouge; and two brothers, Robert Charles Dawson Jr., Morganza, and Quinten Joseph Dawson, St. Francisville. Preceded in death by parents, Robert and Dionysia Dawson Sr.; and a brother, Calvin A. Dawson. He wasa gentle and quiet man.
