Bryant Ulmer Altman, 52, of 52-B Hunters Ridge Lane, an employee of B.E. and K. Construction Co., died Tuesday (Nov 4, 1986) in a local hospital.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Morris Funeral Home Chapel of Hemingway. Burial will be in Prevatte Cemetery, near Plantersville.

Mr. Altman was born in Williamsburg County, a son of Earl B. Altman and Hula Douglas Altman. He attended Hemingway schools.

Surviving are his mother of Hemingway; his wife, Betty Prevatte Altman; two daughters, Romona Duke of Summerville and Angie A. Black of Gastonia, N.C.; a brother, Randall L.Altman of Covington, Va.; two sisters, Edna Turner of Hemingway and Glendra Sledge of Rocky Mount, N.C.; and a granddaughter.
