He married Blanche Elizabeth Buchanan on April 27, 1902, and she passed in 1912. Leaving him with one son, Elmer Charles, who passed at age 11, several months after Charles marred Emma, and Helen Madeline.
He married Emma Louvenia Elliott, on April 1, 1914, and they had two Girls, Eva Louise and Dorothy Velma.
He carried strong physical Scotch/Irish traits.... black hair and blue eyes, which carried on in the generations to this day.

He was employed by the Government as a prohibition agent. His daughter Eva Louise told us that there was a night up in the mountains that he was riding on the side runners of one of the cars while in chase of some moonshiners, and there was an accident while in chase. His death certificate verifies that he died from complications due to this accident.

His sister Hannah was the informant on his DC.
