He was survived by his wife, Annie Kathleen Austin of Winnfield; three daughters, Lisa James and her husband Lynn James, Jr. of Winnfield, Diane Bomer and her husband Dwight of Houston, TX, and Dana Cook of Winnfield; one brother, Alfred Dail Austin of Sarepta; 6 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
