AUSTIN--Frank L. Austin Sr. aged 84, 3461 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, passed away Tuesday evening at St. Mary's Hospital. Surviving are his wife, Esther; three sons, J. Garth, Frank L. Jr., Robert W.; two daughters, Mrs. Robert (Marian) Stehouwer of Traverse City, Mrs. Ben (Ruth) McCoy; 19 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren. Mr. Austin was preceded in death by a son Donald K. in 1953. Private funeral services will be held Friday, 1:30 p.m. at Posthumus Funeral Home, Chapel of the Fountain, with the Rev. Marion C. Harrison officiating. Interment Wyoming Cemetery. Friends may call beginning Thursday noon. The family will be at the chapel from 7 to 9 Thursday evening. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lukemia American Cancer Society.
