MUSCATINE, Iowa Hilda M. Browning Coulter, 82, died Friday, Aug. 17, 2001, at Lutheran Homes.

Graveside Services will be 10 a.m. on Wednesday at the Conesville Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jason Dipple, David Barquest Jr., Kevin Berry, Darrell Conaway Jr., William (Bill) Berry, Jim Snyder, Randy Browning, Theodore Claire Browning, Amber Lautier, Angela Boris and Rachelle Browing.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ralph J. Wittich-Riley-Freers Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Hilda Coulter Memorial Fund.

Mrs. Coulter was born on July 15, 1919, in Andalusia, Illinois, the daughter of Frank and Jenny Spitznogle Kane. She married Emmel Browning in January of 1940.

She was a button cutter and later worked as a home health aide.

Survivors include two sons, Clayton (Ted) Browning of Jefferson and Larry E. Browning of Muscatine; two daughters, Nancy Conaway of Dunnellon, Florida, and Patricia Snyder of Grandview; 16 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her twin sister, one additional sister in infancy, one brother, Clayton Kane, and one great-granddaughter.
