Clarence Anderson, son of Mr. and Mrs. G.W. Anderson was born April 5th 1890, and was killed by a train on the morning of Dec. 8th 1906, being 16 years, 8 months and 3 days of age.

He lived at home with his parents, and spent his school days in the Maple Grove school until this fall when he entered the Narka schools his parents having moved to Narka. Three weeks before his death he became a christian and united with the Presbyterian church. He was also a member of Miss Bertha Bakers class in Sunday school and an active member of the Y.P.S.C.E.

Clarence had a host of warm friends whose hearts are saddened because of his untimely death. The entire community extend their deepest sympathies to the grief stricken family.

His funeral with that of his friend Joy Edwards, was preached by their pastor, Rev. J.B. Rose and the bodies were interred in the Maple Grove cemetery.
