Augustus DeLong, former official and a member of the Bethany Evangelical and Reformed church, died at his home, 504 4th Ave., Bethlehem, at 11 a.m. Saturday. He was 80 years of age. He was born at Longswamp on July 26, 1856. Survivors include his wife Kate, nee Bauer; five sons: William, Norman and Harry, of Bethlehem; Clarence, at home; Calvin, Allentown; two daughters, Mrs. Stanley Solt, city, and Esther, at home. Twelve grandchildren and four great-grandchildren also survive. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. from the house, with burial at Memorial Park cemetery.
