HERBERT H. ALBERT
HALLETTSVILLE - Herbert H. Albert, 90, passed away on Oct. 3, 2007 in Hallettsville. He was born on Sept. 7, 1917, in Shiner, to the late Edward and Hermine (Eggert) Albert. He was a business owner of 10 years and a Lutheran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Pauline Berger Albert, Emily Schneider Albert, and Dorothy Laas Albert; as well as his brother, Clarence A. Albert.
He leaves behind two nephews, Wayne Albert of Robstown and Larry and wife Rachel Albert of Tipton, Mo.; a niece, Sharon and husband Stephen Harold of Sequin; a sister-in-law, Leona Albert of Robstown; and numerous cousins, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. today at Buffington Funeral Home in Shiner. Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5 at Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Shiner with the Rev. J.R. Westerfield officiating.
Pallbearers are Wayne Albert, Stephen Herbold, Evan Herbold, Kyle Herbold, Clarence Hagens, and Mark Hagens.
Memorials should go to Hospice of South Texas and to Dr. Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Shiner.
