Dollie Biddix, age 90, of Marion, passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2011 at Sunrise Rehabilitation and Care.
Dollie was born in McDowell County on January 10, 1921 to the late Dauber and Sally Burnette Biddix. Her main purpose in life was seeing that her family members, her mother and father and her brothers, were cared for in their latter years. She supplied their every need with loving care and selfless service. Dollie loved flowers and when she was able she always had a garden. She also enjoyed quilting in her younger days. Several nieces and nephews survive her.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon on Wednesday, July 13, 2011 at Westmoreland Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at Snow Hill Cemetery where she will be laid to rest between her brothers Edward and Johnny. Flowers are acceptable and appreciated.
