Ann was the daughter of Samuel Ashcraft Sr. and Keziah Moffett. She married Samuel Gibbs on 1 Sep. 1814 in Gloucester Co., NJ.

Note: Her death year is also reported as 1819; however, the gravestone inscription appears to say 1818 (which is how it was transcribed in the Bulletin of the Gloucester County Historical Society, p. 11-28). Her birth date is reported as 1 Mar. 1796; however, perhaps the birth year was really 1795 if the age at death given in the inscription (in her 23rd year) is correct.
