Mrs. A.D. O'Bannon
Mrs. A.D. O'Bannon, a former resident of Rosenberg, died at her home in Bay City, Sunday morning, June 1, 1941, following a long illness. Funeral services for Mrs. O'Bannon were held in Bay City, Monday, with interment in the Bay City cemetery.
Mrs. O'Bannon was well known in Rosenberg, where the family made their home for a number of years. Friends will be sorry to learn of her death and join the Herald in extending sympathy to the bereaved survivors.
Deceased is survived by her husband, A.D. O'Bannon; one son, Ulna D. O'Bannon; two daughters, Mrs. Thursa Lee Jones and Mrs. Lula Van Beal; three brothers, Will, Herman and Gus Abendroth; four sisters, Mrs. Henry Banker and Mrs. Will Lehmann of Needville, Mrs. Augusta Forster of Rosenberg and Mrs. Alma Cowan of Houston and four grandchildren.
